The system of requesting pool and loan players is by using the WhatsApp groups found within the LM&D Badminton League WhatsApp community.
There are 4 set up and functioning now:
Pool Ladies
Pool Open
Loan Ladies
Loan Open
All secretaries are on each of the WhatsApp group so they can access the groups to make requests and also see if their players are volunteering to play when they may be required by their home team.
The home club always takes preference over a club requesting a player.
To remind you of the process (as in the League Handbook):
Stage 1- Request a player from your own clubs lower teams or reserves if available to play.
Stage 2- Request a pool player from the Pool Ladies or Pool Open group.
Stage 3-Request a loan player from the Loan Ladies or Loan Open group.
Players are chosen on a first come basis.
All WhatsApps are time stamped so all can see the communication trail.
Additional players may be added to the WhatsApp groups as more players volunteer.
