Hi Everyone,
We hope you are enjoying being back on the badminton court after the summer break and will hopefully find time to join us for the mystery mixed tournament, which will be onFriday 15th December at 18.00 in Carnforth High School Sports Hall.
This is a fun event where participants will be randomly paired and will play mixed doubles in a round robin format (depends on number of pairs). Handicaps will be applied. The final will be played on the same night and the Brian and Hilary Greenwood plate will be awarded to the winners. We plan to also have a raffle to boost any profits, which will be donated to the Youth Games.
Please enter if you can - it should be lots of fun and a great way to play badminton with new people while supporting a very worthwhile cause. The closing date is Monday 4th December 2023. The rules are much the same as previous years but please read them through. The cost will be £10 per adult and £5 for juniors (under 18) and students.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept any entries after the closing date. If the tournament proves very popular, we may also have to limit numbers to allow all games to be played on the same night, so please enter soon to secure your place. Payment can be made using the bank details on the form at the same time as submitting your entry. If you are having any problems please email either Sandra Moody or Dave Costly-Wood (Email or Email).
Prizes for the raffle will be gratefully received - please bring them along on the night.
